When I first saw shots of 20 year old Matthew Hartwig I instantly thought of GQ cica 80's and 90's. Great face, classic look, dark hair and beautiful eyes that tell you instantly that he serious about his image and about career. The first shots I saw of Matthew were by one of my Favorite photographers Ev Dylan. (see below). I was instantly drawn to Matthews look, his lips, his eyes. There is an beautiful intensity in his work in front of the camera. At first I wondered if this was 'who' Matthew was. That was until I saw shots of him not in front of the professional lens. When at play, when with family and friends Matthew's smile and sense of fun are on full display.

Suave, charming and good natured, Matthew Hartwig’s look is reminiscent of a young Pierce Brosnan; classic americana with a european twist. He started modeling in 2008 when he was 18. He is the fourth of seven german children born to Nancy and Craig in Tacoma, WA. He is a devoted friend and family man, choosing to spend his extra time with his loved ones. In addition to modeling, he excels in and enjoys anything visually stimulating. He is passionate about cooking, horseback riding, interior design, architecture, international fashion merchandising, style, singing, dancing, photography, culture and traveling.
